Yesterday got some tasks, but currently (without Drupal knowledge), i’m not going to receive 8+ hours of work each day. Pretty motivating, right?

The first char who is discovering Northrend is Nagmara. Halfway to level 73 by now, rushed couple levels, trying to get 80 ASAP and join “Call of Blood” guild to start raiding from yearly days of this expansion. However my friends, who are already in this guild were level 76 yesterday and they are going to be 80 in next days. They have Naxxramas raid already scheduled and whole guild makes intensive levelling for this reason. A bit crazy, but i love such straight approach to raiding, tired of waiting for actual raiding when there was Burning Crusade.

P.S: Yesterday there was another thing that distracted me for more than 8 hours from World of Warcraft: it’s Fallout 3. I was waiting this game for years, and probably going to give my free time priority to it first, and only then to WoW.

My friends are probably online and playing “World of Warcraft: Wrath of Lich King”, however Blizzard didn’t added direct download for addon files yet, neither they’ve enabled CD-KEY purchase through account. That means i will work couple more weeks without any distractions to this highly addictive MMORPG. Possibly will get another work, related to WoW by this weekend - to design a WoW guild site, slice, put on Wordpress, integrate with EQDKP and PHPBB3. Should be interesting, waiting for customers’ final decision on my candidature for this task.

Gods of this realm must be decided to award me for respawn delay and sent me a Tauren Druid in resto spec, named Seyriu who silently followed my char when I was completing troll quests. He just followed me, so I’ve decided to exploit this guy a little and make him help me with 5ppl quest in Deathholme. For all my attempts to start talking with him, he stayed silent.

Prequest completed, and I’ve stepped in Deatholme. Quick run to entrance of main bulding, nice heals from level 70 Druid and here’s the “bad guy”s room. Was tough, because this druid was just healing me, but not even trying to attack the mobs, even after I’ve tagged them. Then i’ve runned out of arrows and had to slowly scratch the elite mob with my twohand. Died two times because of mobs’ respawn but finally killed this elite, turned in quest and received the lovely “Farstrider’s Longbow”:

Most likely I will not get WotLK files, neither I will get CD-KEY for account upgrade by the date of WotLK release. Only single though of farming something with 2 of my level 70’s when others are storming lands of Northrend make me crying. As result - new character called “Kats” of hunter class was born and successfully levelled 15 levels. Big cat with “Zyxel” nickname is helping him to kill these angry NPCs and earn these slowass experience bars.

Playing hunter is completely new experience for me, but I’m not going to follow anybody’s guides and tutorials, going to try find the best levelling spec myself. I will not hit lvl70 by 13th of November, but this toon will surely save my nerves and take my time instead of thinking of where to buy WotLK CD-KEY.

50% of Ghostlands quests are completed, and, hopefully, my toon will move to Barrens/Camp Taurajo today evening (got some website edits work from one of my customers, so will take some time to complete it). My friends aren’t online for couple days and this probably means no 3- and 5-people group quests in Ghostlands for me. Blood Elf starting area on Sporeggar-EU looks like desert with no life nowadays. For all the time i was leveling Katz to lvl15 i’ve met only 2 people outside of Silvermoon (and 4 people inside of it). Ridiculous.

Received this project through Scriptlance, to slice a contest page for new World of Warcraft web startup called “Manaview“, that will be started right before WotLK servers go live. Fresh idea, dark colors, nice graphical elements - I definitely like how it’s done and what it’ll be in a future. It was nice to work on this small task, since I’m also World of Warcraft player.

Great attention to rights of freelancers from side of oDesk staff makes this service more and more popular with every single day. Even with RentACoder that has fully featured arbitration system - i’ve found it too complex. While majority of freelance auctions often stand protecting buyer’s point of view, oDesk makes proper arbitration, so in most of cases they are protecting interests of providers (freelancers) from being scammed, abused e.t.c.

I’m not sure if I will be able to get WotLK files and CD-KEY the same day when other people will get it from BOX version, but there’s always a time to wait until my friends will download a EU torrent of Collectors Edition that hit german torrent trackers by the night of Collectors Edition at 7 Nov. By today my friends already downloaded almost 60% of that torrent, so i assume the only problem will be to get enough money by release day to purchase a CD-KEY from russian PIN-shops.
